Only been CH for a week now (1-1-1-1), but much fun. 
Anywhoot, I'm not really interested in being another rancor-trainer, but want to know what kind of spiders I can shoot for while working my way up, and what is the mother of all spiders for the master CH? I'm raising a Hermit spider now, but using my dappled gualama and kaadu (1700 and 1300 HAM, instead of 300 HAM on the spider) for my combat-based CH xp. What kind of crawlies are out there that I should be looking for?

A fellow Spider lover. Hello friend. Your hermit spider is great for starters. If you like hit up a BE for a nice hermit spider within your cl. The next tamable spiders are:
Angler lvl 22 Yavin -Thicket/static. missions
Giant Angler lvl 35 Yavin Thicket, static, higher angler missions
Gaping Spider Hunter/Gaping Spider Recluse lvl 44 Dathmor Instect Hills and static the Recluse has missions
Gaping Spidr Queen lvl 47 Dathmor Instect Hill with gaping spider and broodlings
Archane Widow Lvl 58 Endor SW-S-SE of Research Earthen Mounds either alone or with Archane Queen

The queen on endor is the natiest , the baddest tamable one is the widow butbabies pretty rare

Unfortunately, the Arachne Queen is presently not tameable. But the Arachne Widow is tameable. Both are on Endor.

Oops my bad. I knew that queen being tamable didnt sound right, i forgot about the widow

I agree the spider/angler skins are the coolest. In my personal opinion you need to get yourself a Widow - a really good tank. Finding one - totally different matter 
Unfortunately you'll have to wait until you master to be able to tame this baby.
