Thread: Level issue?

My CH is 2/4/1/3 at the moment.. (37) and I tried to pull out a level 35 Graul Mauler, but it says I can't tame that. Anyone know why?

I hate replying to my own topics, but it seems no one has had this trouble before, or no one thinks this is a topic worth replying to..
On a side note, I pulled out two creatures, whose difficulty levels equalled 35, without a problem. So I am extraordinarily confused to say the least. I guess if no one has any answers on this, my best bet is to go and try to tame a baby and see what happens.

Probably because you can't control that level of aggressive creature yet. I don't remember where the stats lie after the revamp, but I'll bet that's your problem.

Hey, thanks for the response, and that's an interesting concept. I never thought of it being because it was agressive -- I've had no problems with pets that other people have tamed for me, but that could very well be it.

you have two types of pets...aggro caught and non aggro caught.
non aggro go by your CL level only
aggro go by your CL and your taming vicious/wild creatures too. This is where BE clothing comes in. ( +25 taming wild vicious creatures ) will let you pull him out
