wow

whats with the blue.

um......animals have armor ratings...........ie......natural armor grown on the pet from birth.

if that species has it than it has it.

if that species doesn't then it doesnt.

it just means a flat 50 percent of non ap damage is negated.

They showed pics of creature armor in the IGN interview...

I'm hoping that someone out there can help me with this. I bought a Toxic Merek Battlelord today. It's CL 45 and I have 3/3/2/4 in my CH skills so I should be able to tame it right? Well I can't. Under my skills it says I can have creatures of level 45 and control 45 levels worth of creatures, yet this one I can not. I do have a level 40 Delerious Merek Avenger and can call it out.

Anyone have this problem? I know other people can call them out. Maybe I just have to wait until I'm a Master. I'd just to like know.

Thanks

My guess would be that its agressive? An agressive level 45 isnt equal to a non agressive 45 in regards to taming...aggros require more in taming skill.

Base creatures are level 10 with no skill required to handle. Add the amount of creature handling skill gained (in the left colum when SKILLS is selected) to the 10 and that is the base creature level you can control. Probably a 12-14 level for novice I don't remember for sure. You can go to any number of game guide websites like stratics and they have the levels for each "pet" on them. My first pet as a novice was a BE nargalatch.
