Basically, I want to PvP! I want defenses! I want to be able to make more than a dent on another player'sHAM!

I'll probably keep a line so I don't have to ditch some of my hardcore pets in case I ever take it back up again. But by dropping MCH I can actually take part (not get taken apart) in some of the guild PvP action; not have loot stolen from under my nose by someone who comes along and taps whatever MOB I have been hitting for the last half hour; not "steal" XP off other people...etc etc etc...

If I was a betting man though, as soon as I drop it, I'll stumble over 5 baby bull rancors that are playing hopscotch with mantigrue screecher octuplets while a young familyof great plains stalkers gambol in the meadow nearby

you don't have to keep a line to keep the pets in your datapad I believe. A friend of mine was hanging on to my pets when I dropped MCH, and even though she dropped CH completely still has 10 pets in the pad, that's after giving back 3 of them to me.

I must say that I am quite happy for you! You're doing what I've wanted to do for oh so long, but lacked the courage to do so: un-gimp myself. Fencer/MCH and I never used my pets in PvP due to the fact that I'd have to pay for their suckiness by having their stats begin to plummet after dying so many times and losing vitality..now I've double-gimped myself in PvP by going Swordsman/MCH, though I like the dominance I hold in PvE I like that vitality loss is being removed from PvP, though, because then I can at least use my fuh-reaking pets on folks without really worrying about paying the unfair price of having them begin to suck worse...

As for hopscotch-playing screechers and bull rannies, don't be silly..the BE rancor I made could probably take on both at once and win Heck, I bet my BE gnort could do that, too

You can completely unlearn CH and still keep all your pets in your datapad.
