Hello All,
I'm a retired MCH with a creature mount question. For RP reasons I still like to use a creature mount and would like some information on the different pets stats or if that even makes a difference in selecting a mount.
I just bought a very nice BE Cu Pa lvl 10. Do these make nice mounts? Anyone have a favorite creature for a mount and why??

A while ago I did a test on each mount type to see how they compared with each other. Hope it helps. I timed the distance each mount took to run/gallop 200m on flat ground and worked out some stats for them, these are the results...
Kaadu/Carrion Spat:
Run: 27 kph
Gallop: 40 kph for 2 mins (1.33 km covered during full gallop)
Avg speed: 29.6 kph
Dewback/Bol:
Run: 27 kph
Gallop: 36 kph for 3 mins (1.8 km covered)
Avg speed: 29.5 kph
Brackaset/Falumpaset:
Run: 27 kph
Gallop: 31 kph for 5 mins (2.6 km covered)
Avg speed: 28.5 kph
Cu Pa:
Run: 25 kph
Gallop: 38 kph for 2 mins (1.26 km covered)
Avg speed: 27.6 kph
Bantha:
Run: 25 kph
Gallop: 31 kph for 3 mins (1.6 km covered)
Avg speed: 26.6 kph
Note: the average speed takes is measured by galloping until winded then running until ready to gallop and so on. Each mount took exactly 8 minutes to recover even though they have different gallop times.
vehicles for comparison
Landspeeder: 48 kph
Speederbike: 55 kph
Swoop: 65 kph
On foot:
Run: 19 kph
Burst run: 34 kph (for 1 minute? not sure about this.)

I know I do. OfficerDibble gets five stars from me! Excellent work!
I ride a mount around because it's cool. Also, its a bit faster when hunting than normal run, without sacrificing missing the environment around me.
When I'm in a big hurry to just get somwhere, that's when the speeder comes in handy. Especially on adventure worlds when I'm just going out to place, check, or remove a harvester, and my non-scout alt has no interest in stopping and playing with klikniks or perleks.

I prefer my carrion spat mount I made..If I recall correctly, he's level 67, 610-620 damage, 12k HAM, and bull/mutant rancor-like resistances.
Edit (Add-on): He's also got Strong Poison and Strong Disease.
