Hi,

I was just wondering about taking on creature handler... I have the scout trees... Can you use your creatures to help you get higher level missions if they are grouped with you?

To a VERY minimal degree.

For example. On Dant ungrouped and unarmed I can gain 1 lvl higher in difficulty if grouped with a lvl 22 pet and Probot with an LLC equiped. I did notice on Rebel Faction Missions I could get 5 levels higher.

it's not that minimal..you said you are only using a lvl22 pet, therefore leaving 48 cl untouched..i usually group with my gps 51 and wasteland cupa 19 , for a cl 70 ..it's like haveing a additional 690 weapon equipped..add a probot and i get lvl57 missions..still not great, but much better than without the pets

You have to group at max CL pet level of 70 and then add a droid and possibly a faction pet (but you have to be overt for that) and you'll gte higher level missions plus you get all the payout.

I only group with other players now to get mind buffs.

Grouping with creatures can substantially raise, or in some cases actually lower, the level of missions offered to you on the terminals.

For example, as a 0/0/0/2 BH, I can equippe a LLC with the lightening single 1 special. I lower my overall mission level if I group with my giant carrion spat. Sometimes, if your looking for a specific mission (say avian is hot on Corellia right now, and you're looking for carrion spats) you'll want to lower your level.

More often, though, it's raise it...which is why high level CHs are often welcome in groups, simply because they can tilt the balance on Dath to enraged rancor missions by adding their gurreck or rancor to the group.

While you guys are correct you are talking abotu Master Creature Handler and if thats what he wanys then I stand corrected but he said he was thinking of taking on Creature Hanlder to get higher Missions. That to me meant Novice Creature Handler or a low lvl creature Hanlder in which case it will make a minimal difference. But if you do go MCH then yeah it will make a big difference as the mission lvl boost is more based on the level of the pets than on just having a pet grouped with you.

I group with my Probot and lvl 37 Huurton Stalker. On Dant that gives me 12k missions on Piket Longhorn lairs. Without them both I only got 9k missions.
