Thread: Ever Lose Pets?

Seriously.....pets just walking off and never coming back.
This happened to me a few days ago. Opened up my datapad, and my Wrix, Mottled Wrix, Grand Wrix, Shaupaut Hunter, and Kliknik Warrior were gone. Now by no means are they rare animals, but they were my first few tames that I still kept and pulled out for show every once in a while. (the Grand Wrix was useful though)
I hate game bugs...

This actually did happen to me before. I lost everything in my datapad, and relogging didn't fix it. But in my case it was fixed when the server was reset.

Wow, weird. Hasn't happened to me yet, but another CH told me about her GSP disappearing from her datapad. She then relogged, and it was back.

You should contact a CSR about that as thats something you had that went missing and they "seem" to sometimes be able to do something about that.

it might be a stupid idea, but try rescaling your datapad-window.
i thought some of my pets disappeared from mine as well the other day because they were nowhere to be seen in my datapad, so i restartet swg and there they were again. the next day the same thing happened, but restarting didn't help, so i thought they were gone forever.
i accidentally was switching the datapad back to list-view one day and saw them again, somehow i noticed later that i just couldn't see my pets anymore because they were moved from the bottom line to the right line because of a tiny change in the window-scale but didnt show the pictures on the side because there was only one pixel or something liek that of the rightest line of pets shown.
i guess i should have had remembered the storage room on my datapad so i would have figured that out earlier

Yeah, I have known people whose datpads "freaked out" on them like this (though it's never happened to me). If relogging isn't helping, you may want to try staying logged out for 20-30 minutes. That should completely unload your character from the server, and (hopefully) resolve it.
If that still doesn't work, though, I'd open a CS ticket (as others have said).

No petshave ever disapeard, but stuff from my inventory has, like my friggin' 200k med crafting apron.
Log out, do a 'full scan,' wait 30 mins and try coming back. Also try waiting for server restart. Some of my items were gone for a week then suddenly came back.

ive never lost anything in my DATAPAD before, but my backpack dissappears from time to time....its equipped, then i travel, or go into space, or anything with a loadscreen, and when i come out my backpack dissappears......it reappears after a while, but its kinda annoying when i need something from my pack right then, and not in a few hours
