Thread: Today was a fun ch day..

earlier today on dath, whle continuing my futile bull hunt..i spotted a lone enraged rep flier..i alway liked the look of these and the enraged is the strongest, albeit not by much..so i decided to tame it....
then the fun began..every time i initiated the tame it would fly away..quickly..i would catch up to it and try again..and it would be ready to take off again..i must have chased this thing for miles. one time i was standing unarmed in a pack of various rho kwi's, another i had to equip and fight off a pack of escaped ns slaves..one hit the baby a few times..but i dispatched of him pretty quickly..about 45 min later i get the tame..think i'll keep this one for the memory..lol
then i went to naboo..thought i'd do a quick swampie sweep..red dot, yellow circle=rouge fambaa, several times..then i see a swampie spawn..i have 2 silver ones..and this adult was silver(light grey)..killed that and the next was snow white, killed that and another silver one spawns..waited for the 4th spawn, then began to move around, they were spawning a good distance apart, and located the green circle..a snow white baby...this filled up my data pad, and believe it or not i had a hard time giving one of my adults away..finally i found a home for an adult..
it was a good ch day

lol 45mins i think after that long i would have given up and speeder'd out of that god forsaken place

That's funny, I was doing the same thing last night. Chased a Mature Reptilian Flier all over the place for about 20 minutes, but I gave up. I managed to start the taming process a couple times but then it would fly off much faster than I could keep up with it. Glad to know it is possible. Gonna try again tonight.

yeah, chasing those reptilian fliers is fun, i gave up chasing one after almost an hour of chasing with different kinds of apporaches, didn't work at all, so i decided to look for one with a mature creature beside so it won't fly all around dathomir but stay at that place.

I just picked up novice again, and was on Yavin messin' around and saw a giant crystal snake just out side the labor outpost but counldn't get it because lv was to high lol. gratz on the catch!

For a fast creature, I think the following would work nicely.
/dismount;
/pause 0.3;
/tame;
/pause 0.3;
/mount speeder;
You approach the baby while you are on your bike, get off, tame, and get on again. If baby aggroes, you can simply run and not worry about hitting peace as you cannot attack while you are on your bike.
