my friend has a dewback that is lvl 1 of 0. he wanted to see if i, a non-ch, could handle it so he traded it to me. when i called it, it vanished almost instantly. i did this over and over trying to get it to stay visible. however, not only was it not visible but it also would not take my commands. at first my friend couldnt see the dewback for the brief second it appears when i call it so we made a test by making a camp and checking its current visitors status.

after failing to use the pet i traded it back to him and he was able to call it fine and use it whereas i could not. what is wrong with the pet and where do they come from? i asked him if he tamed it but he didnt tell me.

never heard about this before.

This pet is a pre BE revamp pet that was trained from deed after the revamp. They made alot of changes to the creature database and the old BE pets do not fit so you get 1(0) CL but all the advantages of the adults current CL. This can cause some flakeyness for non-ch using a CH only pet.

you have to be at least a novice ch to use any of the lvl 1 or lvl 0 pets otherwise they can be called but they go poof ( I know I experimented it awhile back ) and yes this will include wookiees with the taming advantages as well
