Friends, Wookiees, Creature Handlers... lend me your collective auditory proboscises...
I have made a cursory search through the CH archive but obviously haven't managed to put in the right search question.
I now have a nice fully grown Level 19 Giant Carrion Spat
that has remained in my data pad since the day i trained it, a while back now. I am currently CH 0/1/0/3 just trying to get that last branch to be able to train mounts for my friends and fellow guildee's.
However, from reading some older posts it seems that my fully grown GCS may now be too big to train to /mount
.
Is this true? Bearing in mind that that big thing (that i can't remember the name of) off Dathomir (Brackaset?) is about3 storey's high... (maybe a slight exaggeration).
Your advice would be most welcomed.

Once you hit Management IV, you can train the GCS as a mount. You'll get a message along the lines of "this creature is about to grow too large to be a mount, do you want to stop its growth now?" or words to that effect. You say "Yes", the spat is trained as a mount, and it reverts to CL 12 size and stats instantly, and there's a saddle on it.

Yes, if your GCS is full grown, it is too late to train as a mount. The GCS is the only mount that I know of that is mount trainable on day 1 and then growth will be stunted at CL 12.
