Thread: 'Can't tame that'.. pls explain. It is not just a lvl issue I guess.

Hallo guys,


Sometime, I get a 'can't tame that' msg.


I wonder if its solely related to my max pet lvl, or there is more.


Pls explain,

If it's an aggro baby, you won't be able to attempt to tame it until you have Taming II, in addition to having call level restrictions. Even though a kreetle baby is floating around at CL 4 or so, unless you have Taming II you won't get the option to attempt to tame it.

yup if mommy and daddy are red lil babyis agressive and you;l need to grind an train. just a little friendly tip try finding some bio clothes for taming it helps

Also, if you have the money, just get some Bio-Engineered Creature Handler clothes. They usually have the aggresive taming stats on them. That's what I did....didn't get Taming II until I was 1323, and was still able to train aggressive creatures.

Another helpful hint. The "Tame" radial menu option won't even show up on something you cannot tame (I presume you're using /tame when you get this message?). Before you have Master Scout, this can be a handy way of deciding whether to even bother approaching a baby while still far from the lair.
