I read the FAQ but am not clear. Is there a mount that is higher than lvl 10? When I wasn't CH a lvl 10 was cool.. but are there any "tougher" mounts I can ride around on?

oh yeah.. I am not referring to the "Special Mount" thread. Just something a little stronger than Joe Blow Non-Ch.

To answer that question, yes, as a CH you can have higher lvl mounts. I currently have a lvl 46 BE cu pa mount that has very high resists along with light armor and makes a great tank. And on my new CH on flurry I have a 64 BE cu pa thats growing and will mount him when hes fully grown.

There are also several non-be mounts available to us, including the giant carrion spat and the brackset. My brack on flurry is lvl 29 with 9500 HAM works as a tank very well, and is quite tall to say the least. When at one of the starports on Dant or Dath I am at the lvl of the shuttle when mounted! LOL

So there are lots of choices for CH only mounts, just have to pick what you want and what kind of speed your looking for. For the cu pa mounts just contact a BE on your server and have him make a custom made one for you. Personally I like the cu pa for all around speed and the height at which you sit. For a good cu pa with high resists and light armor it will be expensive, but well worth it IMO since they should last you a very long time, esp when compared to the weapons you grind thru on a regular basis.

I had been lucky finding a wasteland cupa (lvl 19) He's quite nice.
Well being honest, a commando friend found it and then called me, I came running as the little stuff tried to attack her several time.

If you can afford it get a BE mount

I got a lvl 28 CuPa and tested it our tonight. 8000ish HAMs, modest 20ish resists, 300 dmg and Intimidate and Blind specials. Fought Picket Long horns and tested it and it was brutal. Sped the killing by a noticeable amount and took very little damage. One stimpack C was more than ample after the nest was destroyed to bring it back up to full health. The city Ilive in is quite big so its great for getting around without needing repairs and such.

There are many larger, CH only mounts, natural tames, available to you if you can tame a creature with that CL.

And don't forget that you can do tricks while mounted, nothing quite as fun as sitting on a savage humbaba (tallest mount in game) and getting it to rear up
