Yesterday I made a thread here that was named Pokemon: Naming your pet, I just wanted to start something interesting. Since we are called pokemon trainers I thought we aought to think how many of the tameable pet out there could we relate to a pokemon. So now when I get on to see if anyone decided to add anything, hopefully, its gone and I cant find it

Hehe, the use of that term has something of a baaad history here on these forums. Best if you don't use it ever again, lol. You should probably be thankful it was deleted, because otherwise you likely would have seen a thread full of rather nasty flames!

particularly given the fact that if anyone even bothers to look at the two games, they'll notice that there is absolutely nothing in common between ch and pokemon with the exception of giving your pets a name, and having pets to fight within general. it's only used as an insult by the simple-minded because it's the easiest and most prominent example to use to equate CH with something right now.
you can bet your ass that if there was any other more popular game relating to having some kind of animal under your control, no matter how remotely connected it might be, people will use it because they don't have to do any actual work in making up a decent argument.

Mind you a small yellow squirrel that shoots lightning when it's told to (yes a special attack that works!) would be a lot more use then an enormous nasty looking Rancor that gets butchered in three pvp hits.
