Thread: Rancor babies from Bull Rancor Lairs

I am becoming increasingly aggravatedby this. I have noticed that in almost every Bull lair I get a rancor
baby to spawn but no bulls. I have done well over a hundred lairs now. I wonder if I need to do enraged
rancor lairs to get bull babies to spawn. LOL. Anyway, i'm here to tell ya that the devs have been removed
from my christmas list.

ack I know what you mean - there's something funny going on. This last week and a half I've done stacks of enraged lairs, but I've seen a massive surge of enraged bull rancors over the last few days. Man those muthas are hard, especially when you've got 3 of them trying to chew your head off...

HAHAH get use to it, 
First to get a bull rancor baby, its either from a Bull Rancor Lair or a wild pile of rocks with a bull near it.
Bull rancor babies have not been seen for months...
My self ive hunted them since they were introduced back in Dec 2003
615 lairs and thousands upon thousands of dead rancors later , NOT 1 bull rancor (baby)
Same story for all the bull hunters out there.

Well, those babies exist. I just saw my first one on ahazi yesterday. And it was still small, so it had to be tamed just one or two days ago. hehe Damn, i want one too. got 77 lairs so far.

I spent the first 2 weeks of the new FS grind just doing bull rancor missions. Probably did over 400 missions and a dozen natural bull lairs.
In that time, I've seen 2 bull rancor babies. Both came out of mission lairs, not natural ones. First one despawned on me, tamed the second. He's now full grown and sitting happily in my datapad.
Don't waste your time on enraged lairs (of any type). I don't think I've seen any babies come from those.
They're out there. The odds are really low, but they're out there. I think the only reason anyone is even able to find them at all (unlike the mythical frenzied graul baby) is because you can pull missions for them and get lots of spawns over time that way. Frenzied grauls can't be pulled from missions (I don't think); so if it's entirely dependent on natural lairs to generate enough spawns, it's just mathematically impossible to find enough spawns to have a chance at a baby in the long run.

The Bull Rancor I tamed came from a lair.
They have a very low spawn rate making it very difficult. All it takes is time, patience, and consistency and u could get one.

As Lara, I have been looking since Dec. '03 for a Bull baby, 600, 700 lairs? I lost count...
