quick question really. got MCH this w/e and i luv the prof. Whilst on corellia i was approached by someone (not naming them rite now until i know they are doing something wrong) offering me a CL 1(0) rancor. Now he was telling me the super duper low CL was due to it being pre-nerf. He was askin 4mil for it (didnt have it neway but still nice to see it)...

Is this a real pet, or is this an exploit i hear so much about??

Should i scrape the money together and buy it, or not touch it with a 10foot pole?

this is a real pet, a BE made it prenerf, meaning before they made a base CL for rancors kimos and gurrecks yadayadayada. if i had the money i'd buy it, but not sure i'd pay 4mil.

Save your money, the lowest CL allowed for Rancors is cl 35, so if it is lower in cl the 35 then it had been made before the nerf, and as such can not be tamed or called.

mmm. he had it out and told me he was novice CH.. thus being able to use it...

Just i have heard numerous things about 'bugged' pets and don't wnt to end up buying something that firstly i killed myself to save up for, 2ndly getting it deleted/myself banned...

imagine having your cl68 kimo out as well as this cl1 rancor.. wow, you would be unstoppable

well, will give it a miss i guess. don't wnt fumble into something i know nothing about.

Lets face it, your asking, on a public forum,if you shouldbuy a bugged pet so you can knowingly exploit that bug.

Personally, I'd be a little worried about a visit from a CSR if you actually went through with it. Even if you don't getsaid visit, the pet will no doubt revert on you one day when they actually get round to fixing them, so if it's worth 4 mill to you for a temporary pet, then it's your call I guess.

according to the devs the pre-nerf pets will become unusable, the problem is just when, there are still some BE pets out there that are major unbalanced i've seen cl 10 pets with 10k HAM and 60% kinetic and energy resists that do over 200 damage.

Thats just plain insaneto get something close to that from the wild will get the cl up to about 50
it's just a matter of time before the devs correct the bug, atleast they know about the bug, according to the BE boards.
