Thread: Gnarled Rancor baby

Are these rare or hard to find? I was gathering DNA samples on dath yesterday and came accross one of these. I had never seen one before in the wild and followed it around for about 20 minutes taking screenshots of me sitting in front of it. Then i got bored and waypointed it. About 20 min latter our guildee CH logged on and I sent him the waypoint and he went and tamed it. He said in the datapad it was only max lvl 46?(bugged). Just was wondering if that was right? Just a funny story and wanted to find out the info on these. Cheers,

probably bugged, yea
As for rarity, they aren't rare, I've gotten them out of regular rancor mission lairs before, actually, they are probably more common out of mission lairs than wild lairs.

Yeah gnarled rancors are level 46 and are lower than normal rancors. I have tamed 3 of them in my life, sold 2 and kept on of them just to have gnarled in his name 
so its no bugged at all. maybe in future they may become rare

Long ago and far away, gnarled rancor babies used to be much more common than normal rancors for baby spawns. And they've always been a lower level than a normal. Anyone who had a non-gnarled one was considered a better MCH than the rest of us. Of course last time I was on Dathomir Bull Rancors didn't have babies and Graul Maulers had 75% kinetic resistance. So it's been quite some time
