Specials - one the defining aspect of a pet.
With 3 pets we have total of 6 specials attacks, with 2 pets 4 attack and one pet 2.
What I know about specials;
STUN - Slows attack speed (may force victim to miss a combat round)
INTIMIDATE - Lowers Damage of target by approx 50%
BLIND - lowers accuracy of Target
DIZZY - makes target more suceptable to posture changing attacks and knockdown.
KNOCKDOWN - doubles the damage taken when target is down.
CRIPPLE STRIKE - changes posture (lowers) not sure of effect on animal mobs.
Thats the stat type effects.There are Poison and Desease types in mild medium and strong variety also.
There also some uber mob specials, these cant be replicated by a BE.
Poison Spray - I think AoE poison (not sure) - Gaping Spider Recluse(cl44), Quenker Ravage(cl38)
Plague Strike - AoE attack (again not sure) - Mantigrue Screecher(cl55), Bull Rancor(cl55).
Open Wounds (no Idea to be honest) - Frenzied Graul - consider untameable.
Others Include Area Combo on animals above 75 with one exception the cl56 Merek Harvester sadly none tameable, Force Strike and Force Blow on animals - force sensitive monsters.
With a 3 pet situation you can cover the melee based specials attacks like Stun/Intimidate/Dizzy/Blind and also cover them in a 2 pet combo. If you can provide your own posturechange/knockdown attack you have all of the moves available.
We get to the Big single pet situation, you cant cover those specials with one pet, unless you have a weapon class that can do it anyway, as you can see as you go up the cl tree the big nasties have the poison/disease attacks, and the REALLY big nasties have the rare area effect attacks. So i was thinking which 2 are best Stun Intimidate or Blind Dizzy - obviously stuff em, in the wild the big cl beats have the nasty attacks - with only 2 specials one a single its obvious to go for those.
So which 2 specials are best?
