Creature Handler Archive

I'm not to sure if many of you other Master Creature Handler's get this line from most players wanting a pet trained .

Lately getting asked every day by this one player could you train my pet ? You inform the player your data pad is full of creature's and don't got the room to do it. The same player keeps hounding you about doing it but you tell them same thing once more data pad is full. The player comes back later or the next day asking to do the same and even add's in there i could also hold one of your pet's for you so you could teach my pet. The player should already know your datapad is full of rare creatures or pets that are still growing but never let's up on asking you . Also understand there are many other creature handler's around that could do this as well but is bent on getting you fired up. Then at some point the player comes back call's you names and such for being all high and mighty and dont care about us other lower ch's with some other well known nasty words that are edited .

I enjoy teaching other ch's pet when asked and got the room on the datapad . I dont think any master ch would pass a lvl 68 or 60 pet for someone else to hold in good faith but there are some that will from friends you got to make in the game or know in real life.

Just kinda wondering what you other master ch's have done in moments like this ? passed the player on to the ignore list or just over look it and let it go etc...

i got one of those situations except it was about mounts. I asked how he got my name (this was through tells). He said he did a search for me. I now know to not make my character searchable anymore.

These are munchkins out for "free" stuff - I can guarentee that as soon as you had given him a pet to "hold" he would have disappeared, never to be seen again.

Best response is /addignore- there's no need to put off legitimate clients because of a few idiots.

Clients? I rarely get any offers for pay. I've had a couple of decent people tip me but most people expect something for nothing. I haven't had the title long but already I'm seriously considering turning it off. The problem is I still ride my wasteland cu pa everywhere so its obvious what my profession is.

So, you have not a little pet that you could delete?

I would ask the player if he is willing to pay for the fact that you will loose 1 creature of your datapad. The amount is up to you... let's say if he wants to pay 100k for his pet to be trained, then I would delete a pet

Just ignore him if he bothers you. You already told him you cannot do this. But if you have no space left in your datapad, I would suggest you remove your Master CH tag or other players may contact you.

I had quite a couple of players asking me how much I charge for a pet to be trained/mount.

I ask 5k, I teach everything and transfer the pet back to the player's datapad.

Yes, I give it back before receiving the money.

Untill now, all players I had to deal with tipped me the amount I asked.

I get a lot of requests to train mounts because I always have my title on. Even had one guy ask me for as many mounts as I could give him and he offered to pay 70k per mount ready to go right then, he wanted them for his guild. I was lucky and had 3 carrion spats that were big enough =)

Never had anyone hound me or be rude like that though.
