Creature Handler Archive

I don't think any of you know me. For one, I haven't had the time to play this game in about 2 or 3 months. For another thing, I'm a BH who rarely wanders outside of trade forums, BH forums, or Jedi forums. Jedi are my mortal foe, and they encompass my game playing time.

However, I've always found Creature Handler to be one of the neatest things about this game. I've always held a special place in my heart for the guys and gals who brought along pet Kimos to the fight to help out, or the people who named my pets and taught them tricks.

What is happening to your community is a travesty beyond anything I really expected out of this game. As a Bounty Hunter, one learns that the game will never go the way you want, because there are just so many damn Jedi out there paying their subscriptions. Money talks, as they say. I'm sure anyone sympathetic to the plight of the BH understands the reasons for which a hunter would be upset by this new change that is about to happen.

But like I said, what is happening to CH is beyond what I could have imagined this game being capable of. To completely eliminate a profession is insane. Many, many professions are being eliminated by title or by skill, but being at least mildly retained within another iconic profession. But not so for the creature handlers of the world. I wish I could offer more than just my sincere apologies for what is about to happen to you all, but I cannot.

So good luck to all of you. I hope that you can find joy in another aspect of this game, or else at least in another game. I strongly suspect that I myself will be leaving for a different game, or perhaps just relishing not having to spend 15 bucks a month anymore. Good luck again, and farewell to the Creature Handlers.

So I guess you are like the hundreds of people on BRIA ALONE that have quit today? You do know that you won't be hunting Jedi anymore, right?

It's not just Ch that is feeling this, it is all of us...SOE has abandoned their ENTIRE user base.

Actually, while I do realize jedi missions will be going away, I won't be cancelling right away. I want to see what they are doing first. Then I'll decide.

I still hate the SOBs though.
