Thread: can a BE Bantha be a mount?

I've been leveling a friends BE Bantha, cl 8, to train it as a mount but after 20 levels it's still only half size and no option to train as mount. Most low level wild babies would be full grown at somewhere around 10 levels. Do BE pets just take longer?

Nope - the only bantha currently available to non CH is the wild Dwarf Bantha (CL10) which are kinda cute but not very intimidating tbh!!
The only BE pets thats can be mounted at CL10 are the dewback and the falumpaset

As far as BE pets goes size is proportional to CL. So with low CL pets you basically get what I like to call a "shoebox" pet while a very high CL one would look freakishly huge.
To answer you question a CL 8 BE Bantha will never get big enough to mount and niether would a CL10 ... I think Dewbacks barely work at CL 10 and possibly something else ... not entirely sure. For non-CH mounts your best bet is to go with wild babies so in the case of Bantha that means the CL10 Dwarf Bantha.

I currently HAVE a normal sized BE lvl 10 Bantha mounton 3 of my toons, none of them CHs. They are all pre-CU trained tho. A few of my other lvl 10 BE pets are no longer callable now post CU. I get a message giving me the option toeither readjust my pet stats in line with current lvl 10 restrictions or readjust my pet level to be in line with the pet's stats. As I can't control anything above level 10 I tried to choose the 1st option but I only get an error message and if I choose the 2nd option I get level 12 pets I still cant call
