Wookiees and Ithorians cannot wear the Miner's Medallion! The name states it is a medallion but the existing art for a necklace was used therefore Wooks and Ithorians cannot equip this item. Major foul-up there.

Same thing for the new Jedi cloaks. Wooks and Ithorians left out again. Heck take the wookiee smock and use that to make a new Jedi cloak for wooks. Something could also be done for Ithorians also!

In another thread TH has confirmed that the Master Taming Necklace is not wearable by Wooks and Ithorians also. The thing is Wookiees have a speciaes ability that adds to CH. Now we cannot use this new Master Taming Necklace because it was made using pre-existing art that wooks and ithorians are restricted from? Who had their head up their arse when that decision was made?

Take one of the Master Pilot Medals that wooks and Ithorians can wear and use that for both the Miner's Medallion and the Master Taming Necklace for pete's sake. Don't you people think things through before you implement anything? Oh wait I forgot I was talking about SOE here, they only think about friggin profits.

Was wondering where the information came from? As far as I can tell from the forums not many, if any Creature Handlers have even found on of these things. Curious because Im a Wook .

OK found it. It's in the Friday feature for Oct. 21st

Page 9 and 10 is where TH replies about the Taming Necklace.

You can go to the FF and read it for yourself but I will post TH's replies here. While he doesn't directly say "No the necklace cannot be worn by wooks and ithorians" the intent is perfectly clear. Read it and weep.

This is what he said:

Wookiees and Ithorians don't generally get new wearables. Sometimes at first, sometimes not at all. Both Wookiees and Ithorians require additional modeling. I'm sorry not everything is available to you if you are one of these species, but body shape and character customization have a pretty big effect here.

I'm a CL 80 Ithorian master CH. I'd better be able to wear this necklace or it's /cancelaccount. I won't put up with a second class toon. I really like SWG but, if I can't enjoy it to it's fullest, I'll cancel. I'll also tell everyone I know not to bother with SWG because they leave species unsupported without a warning when you pick them.

I would protest but then I remeber how long it took them to let us wear armor. I also look at the extra grind you need to do just to grow a pet now and realize they do not have the balls to just delete the profession they are takeing the cowards way out by screwing ch every chance they get. Remeber opooins are like azzholes we all have one and I do not care if anyone agrees with me.

It is clear I am stupid why else would I be a Wookiee Master TKA/CH.

If this is true and isn't fixed by the tame I am LVL 80 (already MCH and lvl 60), then I shall find it extremely hard not to quit (and I've only been back from my lengthy exile for a month).....

Then this needs to be rectified at once.

Here's an idea.

Let's err on the side of caution.

Give Wookiees and Ithorians level 80 skills without a necklace. Let's see how THAT flies?

So make wookiee and Ithorian ONLYwearble loot to balance it out. Can't see why Wookiee necklaces/robes or Ithorian necklaces/robes can't drop.

Don'treallyunderstand why they even made player species that can't wear stuff that others can wear.

I love being a wookiee and the fact that it is more challenging to be one, but really this is an easy fix. My alt is a CH and is a wookiee and it doesn't seem fair that he willbe less effectivecompared to other species of CH's just because his artwork won't allow it.

I am wondering what the problems is with developing a game that gives a fair chance for everyone. It just doesn't seem that hard to me, but maybe I am wrong.

If my main wookiee can wear a padawan robe with boots, why can't he equip other stuff?
