Thread: New to Taming, have a couple of Qs
Welcome to creature handling! Hope your enjoying it!
Right what your doing with your skills isnt to bad an idea considering once you get 4xxx you should have a better chance at taming most creatures you come across than if you went 1111 for example and without using some special clothing or food to up your taming ability. So I personally cant see anything wrong with the direction your going BUT the other tiers do provide other useful things like access to other pet commands and the rage and embolden pet special attacks not to mention the ability to make certain pets into mounts (for this you need xxx4). So its really upto you how you go about it, pull up the skill page (y pressing L of course!) and look throuhg each box in each tier and see which ones have what and work towards the ones you want asap.
To see what max level pet you can have and how many pets you can have stored/out at any one time goto the skill page and on the left there are 2 boxs, one tells you how much of each type of xp you have and the one below that has proffesion stats (its probably not called that, but anyway!) in this box scroll down untill you find MAX PET LEVEL, this tells you the highest level pet you may have tamed.
Hope that helped!
When I was grinding out CH for the Second time, I didn't go up the taming tree till my last tree.
What I would suggest,
Go up the Training Tree first, this gives you the Most pets in your datapad, and the most trainable Skills (7)
Get at least Management 1 for the Group Command, this would give your pets the "effective" level same as you. (Effective CL, so no Minuses when fighting higher level Mobs)
Management 3 Is also Important, gives you 2 pets out at the same time, but Training tree would be more useful.
As for the Taming Bonuses, I would get a full +25 Set of BE Clothing. They help out a bunch (and are one of the few BE Mods that work well) and also some Almond Cruchies, but save those for the tough things.
This worked well for me, and I had no issues during the entire grind. Plan to use this same method when I unlock my next character.

vendor search is your friend here.
try to find some bio clothes whatever there is. take a look if the name of the creator can be found on the item.
if yes contact him. if no go to vendor and contact him. on farstar +25 bio clothes cost about 20-30k.
it apears you can either wear 1 piece of clothing +25 or several pieces of clothing but annything above +25 won't work.
