There are multiple threads in the Expansion, Items and loot, and guide sections of the forums pertaining to the "potential" racial restriction preventing wooks and iths from using the master taming necklace. I strongly urge all the Wookiee and Ithorian (or any others that want to help) Creature handlers to keep those posts alive and at the top of the page till we get some devs to address it and give us a solid answer.
We need to know what is the deal with this 'must have' CH item.
Where it comes from is secondary at this point...

I agree, the devs haven't been forthcoming with the info, and an issue such as this should take precedence to who drops it and where. I am Trandoshan, so it doesn't directly effect me, but don't Wooks have an innate bonus to taming? Wouldn't that make them the prime choice for CH? So why no love for them? I dunno about Ithors, haven't met many and only played one in ToOW beta but as a BH...but even still this should be all race.

We really need a dev response on this. What baffles me is that Even our corro cant seem to get a response on this. You'de think that would be a simple matter. Not sure why the devs are being so elusive on this issue... it doesnt bode well...

No one has found the necklace.... no one has tested whether it does or doesn't work on Wookiees and Ithorians.
Yes, some of the other stuff is not Wookiee and Ithorian useable, but that doesn't make it concrete that this necklace isn't wearable either. No use starting a huge upset with only an assumption that its not wearable.

WellI am Trandoshan and I can't use the miner boots or gloves, so no extra bonus for me. The Devs won't look at this. Look how long they let the armour hole on trandoshans go unfixed (launch to CU), effectivly taking tradoshans out of combat (and they are a combat driven race).
