Last night I logged my Lowca toon just for kicks and I headed to the Dant Mining Outposts. Well some slapnut parked his Bantha over the ticket droid and set up a AFK loop macro where he would spam "LOL". Well everyone was really flameing this guy because they couldn't target thedroid. One guy had been there for 3 shuttle runs. By this time people were /slap, /punch, /spit and /dueling thisguy but he appeared AFK. They were pissed. I calmly walked to the Bantha targeted him and /summon. Sure enough he came to me. Well the "pwn's" were flying and they were laughing at this guy. So I /summoned it to the outskirts of town for him. It felt good to use this on this guy who was being a jackass. I know I learned about this on the CH forums and it came in handy. I used one of our greif's to my advantage.
What goes around comes around
(yes my sunrunner toon is a CH so I now this is a greif to us but I wanted to share that with the community.)

Why did no one just opened up the inventory and double click on the ticket?

two variant solutions:
1: /target ticket
2: /bo trans

Or contact CSR? Though I really like your solution a whole lot better
The /summon command still needs to be fixed, but how ironic that it actually had a postive use.

I can't remember the last time I clicked on the ticket droid to use a ticket. The only thing I use the ticket collector for is to see how long I have to wait for the shuttle to land.
I always put the ticket in a specific hotkey slot on my toolbar, and have a macro that hits it over and over if I need to go AFK while I wait. After I learned about the "/board transport" command (/bo trans is what I use for short), then I added that into the macro button. Now, I can go AFK while I wait for the shuttle, or I can just hit the macro while I'm standing at the ticket terminal in the other room... or I can use the "/purchase ticket" commands while I'm nowhere near town (there's a thread in here with a huge list of /alias for all of the major star routes; makes it as easy as typing "/eis2tyr" to buy a ticket from Mos Eisley to Tyrena while you're out in the middle of nowhere), and use the ticket as soon as I walk into the front door if the transport is ready.

Yes there are other, better ways to board the transport but i think we can all agree that what that person was doing was a grief, and he deserved getting his pet moved. But nonetheless the /summon command is used more for griefing than to remedy griefing so it should be removed.

You can shorten /bo trans down to /bo tr
That's what I use. (I need to look at that thread with the purchase ticket command, I've never used that.)

The original purchase ticket thread is: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=csystems&message.id=20035
There is the master alias list here: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bounty_hunter&message.id=231547
Also in the second one is a modification of it that can be placed in an alias file and loaded directly via the /load command
