Wich Dewback did Stormtroopers Ride on? Normal one? Mountain one? Does anyone have a reference picture between a mountain and normal dewback?

I could answer this question in about a half hour. I'd have to wire up the LD player and get my LD of A New Hope fired up.

But that's a lot of work. The DVD comes out in about a month. I'll have an answer for you then that is authentic, not just based onmy memory.

I seem to remember them being more the color of of a regular dew than a mountain dew. Defintely not the green of a lesser dew or the BE furniture dew I have in my house.

I believe it was the normal dew back, because if memory servers me correctly, they were geenish in color and the Mountain are a bronze color. And the others are different from the normal as well. But who knows.

Looking at the screenshots from the starwars.com Databank, I almost want to say "Grizzled Dewback." They have a nice green cast (as opposed to the reddish browns of regular dewbacks and mountain dewbacks), and the close picture on the EU page certainly makes the dewback look time-worn and "grizzled." Of course, that would mean sandtroopers are also CH dabblers.

"Most dewbacks have green scales, but there is variation in their colors. Some dewbacks are gray, brown, red and a few rare ones are even blue. Mottled areas and camouflage patterns are common. "

problem solved lets call them dewbacks..just plain dewbacks. but id still like a blue dewback!

A pitty you can't tame those grizzled dews. Always funny to play some scenes of the movie.
