Thread: Best Way to find graul mauler nests on Dant

title pretty much says it all whats the best way to locate graul nests or do you need to get in a group and find missions for them? and also ive noticed when having my Cl21 and CL18 BE Kwis out as added help in farming mission lairs when unbuffed i get 2 sets of CH exp 180 from the 21 and 210ish from the 18 is this a bug or a natural happening? and im currently 2/4/2/3 in CH with TKM as combat prof

Get a solo group at the mining outpost and take missions for them.
Two pets out will get you about the same exp as having one pet out. That exp looks normal to me.

Just like the other poster said. Get in a solo group and you will get the missions for them. Me and a guild mate did this the other day. He got to mission and I got 2 missions and I ended up taming 3 babys. Would have been more but he killed a few.

thanks was wondering about the 2 pets thing cause didnt wanna get in trouble for an exploit or anything. one mroe question what is the avg money range for the graul missions or should i just scan thru all the available missions til i find one with a graul nest?

I think they are 11k to 15k. But do not remember for sure. I was just checking out the details of the mission.

heh reason im looking for grauls is cause i cant tame mereks or arachnes yet or at least i wasnt able to even with my taming clothes on when i was looking last weekend for arachnes and mereks. kind of upsetting too cause i found a baby deaths head merek toxic battle lord and a delirious avenger while i was looking at the mereks and a webmaster for the arachnes. whats even worse is i ended up killing each of the babies cause i was unable to tame and they saw thrumy mask scent right after i checked for tame :/

Always put your weapon away before taming so you can burst run and break the agro. Otherwise you will go through a lot of aggressive babies before you tame one.

Yeah you probably don't even need a group to pull 11k Grauls, I know I can do it with a pet grouped, they are very easy to find, although I think my first tame took something like 16 tries, as I had no BE clothes Good luck

thank you for the responses to my questions. and Lytefoot about the weapon thing i didnt ewven have my VK equipped and thought i had my stone knife that does like 44 min/max equipped which is why i was kind of upset abotu the baby deaths since i was hoping to tame them. though now since i have done some grinding for exp in the geo caves ill probably give the arachnes, and mereks anotehr try for some cool pet baby spawns. and another question occured to me from my various trips back to geo caves from the LO was if anyone knew where i might be able to find some anglers and which are a bit more sought after from the anglers so i can keep my eyes open for possible rare tames

Go to the Imp Outpost on Dantooine, and head West South/West over 1k and they are usually all over the place...

Ive tamed 2 maulers by going to the waypoint on swgcreatures.com and finding wild lairs of them, lots spawn so I had to beat them up with TK, eventually a baby came out and I tamed it, then ran away.

Grauls can be found in the area east and north of the Rebel Hideout. I have had good luck hunting the foothills in that area...
