Thread: Idea to un-nerf Creature Handlers.

If I'm insulting anybody, sorry, but seriously... I can't remember the last time I saw a Master Creature Handler. Back in the day, 2/3 people had at least enough CH to have two rancors.

Okay: Here's my idea. Farms.

Yep, that's right, farms. Livestock farms... anarchitect can create a 'farm', and a Creature Handler can place a farm. Now, to get meat/hide/bone from the farm, it depends on:

A) A Creature Handler/Ranger skill mod

B) The creatures IN the farm

The creatures in the farm need to be captured by the creature handler. The bigger the creatures (ie. the more you can harvest, say fat and healthy for 250 units of X) the more extracted. Instead of Base Extraction Rate on the farm, the experimentation will decide how many creatures can be held in the farm.

Instead of money and power, say... money and flora, or something along those lines.

Just a thought... It'll never happen, but wouldn't that be interesting?

Been over this many times in other threads. Good idea, again, the question that begs to be asked though is CH tend to be combat types, do we really want to see them get pushed in a crafting direction? I understand it's not full on crafting but it is simialr to have a factory.

Plus, this seems really more of like a Ranger type of activity. Poor Rangers/Scouts, no purpose anymore really but to be organic resource miners. Sad really.

Polearms,Ranger,CH the forgotten children of SWG. ah well it will all be fixed in the.................................

The Rangers felt this infringed their territory. The best we could ask for is to get milk and possibly eggs.

It would be nice, not really turning CH into a crafting class, but something more than just a combat class.

I don't think CH's would need much of a power boost, if we were given other things, such as the ability totrain mounts to be pack animals, or to wear armor, able to have armor on our tameables, given a city structure such as a stable to show off pets and as a sort of possible safe breeding ground so CH's and BE's could interact.

Sorry about reposting something that's been discussed, I don't have much use for spending hours on the CH forums.

Don't get yourself down. We recently saw a new idea that many of us overlooked. Just keep the ideas flowing and we can tell you if its been up the flagpole before.
