I'm a Master BE on Ahazi. I make regular stims but I am working to off every thing a BE can make. There is a realy good fish on Dantooine and you need it to make pet stim D's. I caught25 fish and when I faleted them I got bait every time but once and it yealed 15 united of fish. It takes 25 units to make one pet stim Dso 25k fish for a full run. Hereare my questions:

1) Who can use pet stim D's? Is it like regular stims whereit is based on CL level (example: Stim A's required CL 1+, StimB's require CL15+,stim c's require CL35+, and stim D's requires CL 60+)?

2) DO they work post CU ( I was told the Pre CU ones work and don't have a timer or any thing you just use as many as you need to till your critter is healed..is that true?? I was also told Post CU pet stims don't work??)

3) If I use my one 30k resource to get the fish that is going to make the pet stim D's realy price. Would anyone even buy them if they cost 200k to 250k for a case of 25??

Thanks for your import

I would presume that the CL governs who can use them I don't remember them being CH restricted.

Yes at the moment if you use them seperately from normal med stims their is no timer on them(unless you use a med stim first), so you can use 10 in a row very quickly if you want, I doubt this will be a permanent thing though it will get 'fixed' soon. I can't even remember if mine are pre or post cu I will try to grab new ones and see if they are ok.

Ifyou could get them healing over 1k at a time then their prices might be comparable to top class med stims. Their isn't as much of a need to heal pets these days so the pet stims are not as sellable as they where, but every little helps. You may find 25 lot crates would sell for a while and then it would be months before we need to replace because of the lack of usage.

Hope this helps a little.

pet stims have always been a niche market. Even more so now with the higher regen rates on pets. I am a MCM and rarely heal my pets because they regen so fast. You might find these MBH/MCH players in need of that extra stim for healing their pets since their pets are taking heavy damage as opposed to a large group hunt where damage is usually going to the tank. Interesting there is no timer on pet stims now. Before the CU there was a ten second timer on them as opposed to a 5 sec timer on regular stims. They were on seperate timers and a must have for me though Pre-CU due to the fact that I could use a 1100 heal pet stim followed by a stim B for a nice heal, essentially healing for about 2000 every 10 seconds.

In my view, pets stims are far MORE valuable now because we can use them without the timer.
However you don't NEED stim Ds since you CAN heal your pet multiple times.

When this gets 'fixed', pet stims will be nearly worthless again to me because I won't use up my heal timer to heal 1/8th of my pets health when I can heal 1/3 of my own health.
If pet stims could heal 3000+ then it might be different.

Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

Always had some medic healing ability so I can't see myself spending that much on stims. Perhaps I should look into having a few on hand, but if there was ever a timer installed that was greater than a few seconds (like say Bacta Shots reset) then I don't think I would use them at all.The one minute reset on normal stims seems a bit steep to me and has made them pretty useless for my purposes.
