Hello to all of you goot vets there that want to help a long time player new to CH proff. I have been baby taming and getting my skills up, I am just finishing my MCM grind and I am thinking toward getting 3 or 4 sets of pets going for my use in different combat. I want a set of 3 CL23 pets for when I am lonely and just like the company of creatures, a set of 2 CL35 for when I am gonna get my hands dirty with a friend against tougher things and two single sets of a "tank" for when in group and want to lend my combat support. Now I have an angler for one of tank pets CL67 with thick skin 2, but as for the lower pet sets I really don't know what creatures are out there that are good combatants and was wondering what old school suggestions you might offer for CL23 pets and CL35 pets.
Thanks for all your help and suggestions in advance.

The best trio creatures were the female narglatches. After the new pet system their max damage went down a bit but they are still awesome. Now the stronger than the narglatches as far as Max Damage are the Greater Sludge Panthers at level 23. I just tamed three babies and growing fast.

I still keep my narglatches and believe me I dont use these two species when Im bored, as a MTK I use them all the time.

In my experience as a MCH, i've found that two or three pets of lower to mid-level are more effective than a single massive high-level pet. My combination for nearly two years has been my female Narglatch (Blitzen) combined with a Greater Sludge Panther (Donner).

With the new system having pet specials linked to keywords, having multiple pets out lets you issue one command (s1 in my case) and they lay their state effects all at once for you.

There's nothing wrong with onelarger pet, however. Pulling my Rancor out has amusing moments and my BE Kimogila has been known to wander around Krayt dragon spawns with packs of Jedi shouting "Why can't I attack this Krayt!"

Creature Handler, I've found, is very customizable. Your pets and what abilities you teach them will vary with your playing style and what you need. I'm a pistoleer so I don't have the ability to blind or criple things. Using pets with blinding and hamstring attacks complements my ability to stun and intimidate things.

Personally I am going with BE pets, of course being a BE I am biased. My big pet CL 69 9k health 340 dmg (other stats adjust when you tame em to their lvl) CL 35 pair with 8k h don't remember the damage off hand. If I make a 70 similar to the 69 I will switch <grins> as for 3 well I don't use 3 for the most part, I prefer twins or single.
