I couldnt tame any of those (yet) and I am still depressed at that list. Why would they make anything extinct when pet stats have been "adjusted" already? I can see rare but extinct? C'mon.

Agreed, the logical explanation would be that they really did intend to roll out the combat balance back then and these would have been just too evil... however since they didn't there is no point indeed. Now a days anything short of a Krayt or Gorax is fairly useless in PVP.

We are ok for PVE since Hamster vs Hamster battles are not unblanced.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.
