Well there I was on Dantooine this morning frantically murdering Quenkers to level my rifles, as deciding to switch to rifles when publish 10 was due probably wasnt the best move lol.
Anyway there I was, I arrive at my next Quenker lair and someone was shooting my Quenkers, well Im not the kind of person who gets in a strop over things like that, so I just started shooting one near me, and the nice guy asks if it is my lair and apologises. We get chatting about the difference between wild and mission lairs and it turns out he used to be a CH, and he asks me if I'd like one of his old faithful pets. Well I've only got the one space for taming so I think about it and say yes, I've got a couple of pets on the release list in case I find my Screecher so I can take one at a pinch, he trades me over his pet Kliknik and bids it a fond farewell. It was sad. I'd miss my babies too.
Well you have to remember that this is Helene and Im not exactly awake first thing in the morning, so I take out my new pet and off we go to kill more Quenkers.. my nice new little Kliknik. Hmm. Well something did tickle my one remaining brain cell but I was on auto pilot trying to level my next rifle box so it wasnt til Id finishedoff the lair that I did actually examine it and trot off and check. Oh dear.It was aKliknik Queen. Light dawned that I'd been given an extinct pet

That's a nice story and congrats because Klikniks are one of the coolest critters in the game. And it seems Rifles and CH are meant for each other, I polished off my last 3 rifle boxes on Pikets and would not have been able to do it if my GSPs weren't around to tank. That is awesome. Its good to know that there are good people left who do the random good deed. More people should try to be that person more often, myself included.

Oh it was lovely. The Kliknik's name is Melfina if anyone recognises it's previous owner from that, I'd love to get in touch with him and thank him properly. His name was something like Jacyrra but it's not that I tried it anyway if anyone on Starsider can help me find him just yell.
I'm glad I made the move to rifles, I shall miss BE and being able to make pets and my little pet shop sniff, but I was getting very frustrated not being able to fight properly.Now Im having fun and Melfina is too, she's been helping with the PIket massacre, I must admit I'd love to have seen her fight in the days when she had medium armour, but she still does really well even without any, she's a lovely pet and Im very grateful to have been given her.
