In this list I would also put;
PVP 75% reduction as a must for those who are going to be hunting Jedi for sure
Also would put in Plutos observation, the dizzy attack sends pets into the run mode, this maybe again the inability to find ideal attack range.

I've never had /tellpet work. Tried several times over several weeks with different pets. It never had any effect, ever.

I've seen this as many of us have and I'm thinking it might be tied to a similar issue. I've been fiddling with a harvest droid (with no attack skills). I typically have it out when I'm doing lairs and it's great sending it to go harvest since it gets more resources than I can and I personally don't have to get within 15m of the corpse.
If I *group* with the harvest droid, however, during combat, it will at random run off, even going beyond 128m (and /tellpet range). After talking with some others about it, I found that the workaround is just to not group with the droid and it won't run off. This seems very broken to me (and could be called an exploit I suppose).
In the specific case of pets, I don't mind it from a realism point of view for a pet to run off now and then, but with certain pets and certain opponents, it sure does happen an awful lot and does get to be annoying.

If you notice, certain body types have a tendancy to do this more often than most. Such as the rancor/Graul body type. And even the Blurrg body type. Craggy Bolma's/Bols are the worst...

This the beginning of a series of three threads. And they are as follows...
1: Current Bugs 2: Current Issues 3: Ideas, Content and Wish List
Please post as many details according to any bugs you encounter, especially after each publish.
Currently Known bugs in no particular order:
- Pets 'poof' back into datapad occasionally. Seems more common in crowded regions, in battle, or right after dismounting a mount
- Ongoing pathing problems (pets start moving very slowly or stop following altogether) especially on inclines or declines, and pet also will not be able to attack in rough terrain.
- The special attacks "Poison," "Disease," and "Knockdown" do not work with the specialattack1 and specialattack2 training commands. The useranged training command switches pets to Ranged Attack mode, but cannot switch them back to melee.
- Some pets run away when they come under attack in battle (more common with some body types than others). May be related to creatures having different ‘ideal attack ranges’ that they constant try to move to.
- Remove pet vitality loss from factional deaths, to be consistent with normal item decay rules (currently under investigation)
- The /tellpet command sometimes will not work for players. This generally happens in isolated episodes for players, both preceeded and followed by tellpet working perfectly with the exact same pets and commands.
