im a little new to CH, but not new to the game, so i was a little baffled when this didnt work.

i trained my pets attack command as a, just a..nothing else. then i made a macro for /tellpet a, and bound that macro to a key, but when i press it and have the mob targeted, my pet just stands there. i tried doing it manually as /tellpet a, nothing still..i say it outloud, and he attacks. go figure!! does anyone else have this problem?

For some reason, /tellpet won't work with single-letter commands. Change it to "aa" or "at" if you want to keep it short.

do u have to be close to the pet for this to work? or will the pet still respond at say 70-80m to the command?

/tellpet actually has further range than /say or even /shout. It's around 90m I think (though I've not actually tested this9.

Ok, so this may have already been mentioned, but itis a tweak that could happen to the issue/request list. I was testing out tellpet while training one of my pets and it seems that the only commands that are dropped are the one letter commands like 'a'. If it is two letters or longer then the command sticks perfectly fine. I figure that maybe this could be an easier bug to fix if we get specific on the request listby saying it always happens with one letter commands but never with longer ones. Anyone else find this to be the case? Thanks.

yeah, i was just hoping to get a definite number and see if other people had the same problem, since it could be one of those "quick fixes" before the combat revamp. Figured it might be nice... but who knows...

Sometimes my 2 and 3 character commands issued through tellpet stopped working, possibly even four characters if I remember correctly.
