It looks like as long as you haven't gained pet xp yet, another CH could take the pet and use it right?

Wonder if there will be much market for this, especially for the more rare L3 Ability babies if you grab one that you already know the ability for or just dont wanna train it up to learn it.

I hope so..the trade boards need more CH "loot"

If we had a bunch of pet storage, I'd be all over that market. However, as it is now, I can't afford to give up another datapad slot for a pet I "might" sell later. So, if I were to find a second "Aggression (L3)" pet, it would be released immediately.

Really, when you have 75 abilities but only 20 storage slots, datapad slots become the limiting factor for advancement. There's no way ( at least until I'm satisified with my ability accumulations ) that I'm going to sacrifice a slot.

I'm working up to writing a post on that very subject, but am not quite ready to approach it reasonably.

I sold a Lurking Shear Mite (69) and a something reptilian flier (69) yesterday for 125k each, untrained and a unused. Each one had a special available. The mite had Guarded Stance L3 and the flier had Fleetfoot L3 (maybe L2, don't remember) and he's quick.

I tried offering a trade for a pet with another L2 ability and no one bit so I finally deleted it. I think that would be a great way to do things though. It's possible that trade boards move too fast for those to get noticed. Maybe this idea will grow on people

I think it would be nice to have one single thread that listed all the servers and people could add their trades to it, but maybe too cluttered in here...

Trading the pets themselves seems moderately marketable. I've done this with guildmates and friends that are CH's, but as has been mentioned above, the limited storage space will make it hard to hold on to duplicate skills.

I haven't yet trained other CH's pets with commands that I know in return for them doing the same for me (or for credits), but I think there is a quite good chance that doing so will become a quite good way to get the rare skills or earn credits.

I think with the new system this is definitley something that we could all use. The extra pet slots are almost essential for the learning of abilities. None of us can now pass a baby without taming it lol. And if you find an ability you still need - its what to do with it if you see the next baby over the hill. It's an obsession now, the baby taming.

I still have some older pets that I want to see mature and then try to train - see if they learn and if the abilities work. I don't want to lose my older pets until I am sure the new ones are rock solid.

Meanwhile my datapad is full, and I am using pets for xp as fast as I can. Some little beauties come my way and now I want to keep them - OH NO! I named them now, no chance of giving them up without a tear.

So I think this subject may deserve a thread on its own, well written and constructive.
