The Bad News is:
If you order your pet to attack a lair, it will not attack anything else until the lair is destroyed.
Not entirely correct, they can be ordered to attack something else but once that is done they go right back to attacking the lair.
Having them follow is a possible workaround.Its a bit buggy though.

More bad news:
The 'You can not tame that, It is not your pet" bug is in full swing.
Even More bad news:
The bug with pets disappearing in the middle of combat has increased 10 fold.

Maisland pls tell me you found Dalys on Eclipse. I've been going there since Thursday and have not seen anything but the static spawn outside Dearic and Nashal. I just want to replace my GSPs

Sorry, the Dalyrakes I found were on Valcyn. I have yet to find any Talusian babies on Eclipse. In fact, most of the babies I have found on Eclipse were on Dathomir.

Plenty babies on Naboo, Dath and Tatooine on the server Eclipse - that is what I have found so far. Haven't tested the rest yet. I am trying to learn all the L1 abilities first as I am unlikely to keep those pets, but might enjoy keeping a L2 pet if I find a good one. Wish they would give us more pets now they have introduced this system

The Bad News is:
Wild Spawns are few and far between and babies no longer spawn in mission lairs.
The Good News is:
When you do find a Wild Spawn, there are often several babies there (I found one Dalyrake spawn on Talus that had 5 babies... none had any abilities though).
The Good News is:
With babies starting out at full health and CL, you can start using them right away.
The Bad News is:
You can no longer tame a baby if you have a pet out already and the baby's CL would make you have more than your max CL of pets out.
The Good News is:
You can work a pet and get it to full size in a matter of hours.
The Bad News is:
You can no longer tame a pet to make into a Non-CH Mount and just hold it in your data pad until it is big enough.
The Good News is:
We can now learn special abilities from babies we tame and then teach them to the pets we want to keep.
The Bad News is:
It takes several "roll-overs" to learn an ability from a baby that we are just going to delete once we have learned the special it has... which takes time that we could be spending working on the pets we do plan on keeping.
The Bad News is:
The (working) special abilities our pets had pre-CU are no longer there.
The Good News is:
Our (untrained) pets are no weaker than they were pre-Publish 21 (unless you had an Elite pet).
The Good News is:
We now get CH xp for having our pets destroy lairs.
The Bad News is:
