ok, read the sticky, how do I learn my new tamed pets inate attack ability?

my new learned pet had knockdown, I turned over the pet xp...so now it has 1 learnabiltiy slot, it has 7 training points...and I successfully trained the pet in its knockdown ability.

I tested it and the attack works.

so now I want to train my other pets the knockdown attack. I have a pre-cu BE crafted pet...it has no specials. It has 2 trainable abilities open, and 24 trainable points.

so my question is...how do I get my xxx1...CH to learn the knockdown ability...and then be able to train this attack to my other pets?

I know this is a pre-cu pet I'm trying to train..lvl 8...my tamed pet is still a baby and lvl 2. I thought I could learn this ability and then train to other pets?

I also am unable to train this attack to new post-cu...post patch babies that I ahve trained with trainable points and trainble slots.

I apologize in advance if this is a question that has been frequently asked...I have not experimented much with this either...I'm more at a lose here.
