Thread: I just dont get it?!?

How do I get new abilities? Yes I have read the stick and I still dont get it,... I have A newly tamed Baz nic Kinid level 69 I have only been working with since the new system. I have rolled his exp over twice so he now has 32 training point but no abilities to train. What am I doing wrong or have I just not waited long enough? (He hasnt grown at all he is still baby sized)

Not all babies will have special abilities for you to learn. You have to find one with an ability to be able to learn that ability from it.

He he he he he I know 18 (And have six waiting to be learned)abilities
I'll break it down easy:
1'st tame a baby that has an innate ability (Not all babies have em, it's random).
2'nd Fight with that baby for a random amount of time.
3'rd a yellow text system message will appear after a battle and you will have that ability to train.

If a pet has an ability you will see it listed on your datapad but if you examine pet it's not listed look here - Clicky

Things go REALLY fast for all your pets if you use a Pharple with a group of others.

I kept missing the message so I made a new chat tab that has nothing but system messages in it. Since I hunt alone mostly I only added instant messages to tab also if a friend sent me a tell so I would not miss it either. Not sure you would want to bother with that. For me since I did that I do not miss the message as much and when I do I do not have to look to far to find message. Not sure that made sense tired now to much looking for great plains stalker lol

OK i got it thanks =) BTw is there a list ofcreatures with abilites posted yet?
new Baz nic Kinid I tamedhas nothing so I tamed
Tamed a roba -nothing
Tamed a hurrton howler -nothing
Tamed a vorter somthing or other -nothing
wonder again if I was doing somthing wrong
ThenI tamed a blurg and it had persion strike YAY
Now i get it =D

If you miss this message (as I usually do) type /train with nothing targetted and it will bring up a list of all the abilities you have learned.
