Seeing as some planets have few to no spawns, most noticeably Talus, Rori and Dantooine, with corellia and Tatooine being affected as well, it makes since to allow babies to spawn from mission lairs. As a mid level CH with no opportunities to tame wild creatures except for babies on Naboo it seems, it is incredibly frustrating to not be able to fully utilize the new pet special system. Please help us.

If others have similar feelings or other ideas please post here.

Well as much as I hate to disagree. I have trained in maybe 10 new specials in like what...4-5 days? The babies are definately out there.

About what are you talking??? There are tons of babies on every planet...

I learned almost all level 1 specials and several level 2...

Granted, there are some deserted areas, but once a player has been there, the server starts spawning creatures a few minutes later...

depends on the server your on. on tarq me and another mch having isuues not with babies not spawning but alot of the babies bei untamable such as hurrtonn stalkers and huntresses. youexamine them it says tameable but the /tame command will not work nor the icon and it seems to be the dog type critters with this issue same thing happens with any slice hound on corellia. talked to other mch on other servers and they dont have this issue it seems to be a server issue. and this is happeninf regaudless of the level of the animal

just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Talus has never been very populated this goes for Rori too ...If you have a little time you can get missions in one direction fly to the mission targets then abort return and repeat after 4 missions in the same area you can fly back out and you will see many spawns where the missions once were I use to do this on talus when i lived there...

It depends on the server, people. Spawns seem to be limited by the amount of player cities on the planet (Except Dantooine, which they've upped the spawn on numerous times so no matter how many its still fine).

On Bria, anyway, Talus and Lok are both so city populated that there are almost no random spawns, even in so called "populated" areas. Rori is decent, and because of the lower city limits on Corellia, Naboo, and Tatooine they are pretty good as well.

I ran (yes, ran, not biked) from the middle of Talus to one of the corners, and I saw a grand total of 3 natural lairs. Thats in about 3 hours.

Haven't really noticed on other planets, but Dathomir right after a server reset is extreme. The spawns are so thick that my radar is just a red and yellow splotch. Drove to the village today right after server reset. Saw a gaping spider hunter baby that I wanted, but he was standing right smack in the middle of about 200 nightsisters. :-) Needless to say, I drove on. Tamed a lot of other babies there, though.

On Corbantis, I can go to Talus, run a dozen missions all in the same direction and never see a wild spawn. On Rori I ran from Narmle to Reb out post to Restuss and saw, you guessed it, 0 wild spawns, on Dant, no wild spawns once you get 2k away from the MO. Its pathetic the amount of babies one can find on Corbantis that are under level 30. Im glad everybody is having such good luck on the light population servers, but that's not the case for all servers.

If you're having problems finding wild spawns, try an area on the planet with more people. The serverspawns critters where the players are, find the players: find the lairs. For Tatooine, I've found the area around Jabba's palace is usually pretty populated, since there's almost always someone doing Jabba's theme park or Fett's Clone relics quest. Although it looks like Krayts have started to show up around there (and around the Krayt skeleton POI), so you may want to watch out for those.

If it's a regularly deserted area like Rori, start taking missions, even if they're under your level (use it to get some training xp for your pets). After you spend some time in an area and force some spawns, the game should start popping up with some wild lairs.

This is my main problem with Dathomir spawns too. I see lots of babies there, but they are often right smack dab in the middle of a huge cluster of red critters... and as I am a BE as well as a CH, nothing on Dath is grey to me unless I am grouped with a higher level.

What I find hardest to come across are the lower level stuff that I can get the L1 abilities off of. I got most of the ones I have now on Tatooine just wandering around Mos Eisley.
