Can someone recommend 'the best' non-ch pet that I can use for tanking? I'm on Bria and I would be interested in buying one. Send me a email or post your suggestions about what you think and why. Thanks

This is an impossible question to answer, because BE pets are superior, and the variations possible with them are infinite.

Tazz vonMannstein Baron-Administrator of Corellia, master navigator of Corellia, captain of the Gregarious Gurreck

Sio Babble MBH/MCH/Cabana Boy; master of Tyson, the GNORT OF DEATH

Jeffn Akbar Nerfed from here to Lok MD/MCM

Zanti Agaesia Bothan MBE, 12 point Master Chef, Havoc Squadron Ace pilot

Get a BE pet that has the highest kinetic resits and HAM you can find for PVE. For PVP talk to a BE about resists that can be added to a non-ch pet. I am a MCH I do not PVP so, it is not my area of expertise but a BE should be able to steer you in the right direction.

I'll give it to you straight. Since the "uber" non-ch pets were nerfed recently (thank god) you will not see too many useful pets that you can use. The best I've seen on my server, yesterday infact, was a 15% kinetic resists pet with 5k/1.4k/1.4k ham. I bought two, mainly because I already knew I was dropping CH soon. You can probably find some that are more even.

Now if you want the real tank, its you! Put 70% kinetic armor with your doc buffs, Im better than my 10k Light Armored 60% Kinetic Bio-Razor Cat. I'm not exaggerating.
