Im wondering if there is a command that will target my pet for me, for instance instead of f for follow which spams the spatial you can use /tellpet. Is there a /targetpet command or anything of that natural?

Are you grouping with your pet ?

If so then use the group commands liketargetGroup0 (forgroup member1)

For a macro use /ui action targetGroup0;

alternativeto a macro,if you are grouped hit CTRL+2 (or in a large group whatever position the pet is on the list)

it is /target (petname);

the parenthesis are required and it is case sensitive.
