Just got a cl 10 pet to help me solo hunt krayts and other high end mobs. I am MBH/MR and wanted a pet that could lower the defenses of my targets. So I bought a CL 10 Cu PA with Imperiling Feint, hamstring, kd and also the bleed attack. I am looking for a macro to basically have the animal use imperiling feint and then attack the creature then reapply the IF. I searched the forums for a macro but coudln't find any.

Would it go something like this:

/tellpet sa2;

/pause 1.5;

/tellpet sa2;

/pause1.5;

/tellpet attack;

/macro IF;

Thanks in advance

Atyi-back for now(cancled December 29th)

if you /tellpet sa2 (which i guess is special attack 2)

the pet will attack at this point on the macro (the last /tellpet attack isn't needed)

and yes if you have s for the Imperiling Feint this will work

but why you would pass up the chance to get it to also do the otherskills is beyond me

I'll miss Creature Handler more than i'll miss SWG!

Try a 61 second pause, see if it works well.

Remember, a pet of this CL will die in one hit versus a Krayt / GDK / etc. Do not let it have the first hit, and try to keep out of the mobs range (Krayts area attack; if they are in range to hit you they will take out your pet). Your Cupa will lose vitality very quickly as well, you may need another in 3 or 4 weeks!

I might add that this pet may not get to close to a krayt with aoe or if it does it won't stay there long enough to deliver the IF more than once. Any other type of creature your theory is sound but when going against AOE creatures you may want to get a CL10 BE pet with lots of health and def and have someone work that baby up and add IF for you.

It should work out ok; I did this with a CL 10 Veractyl prior to becoming a CH.

As long as "I" stayed out of range and kept the Krayt snared, the pet was free to attack with little risk. Let the krayt get within 15 - 20m metres though, and the pet is nuked!

The UI commands do not trigger pet abilities.

Group with your pet so it will take on your CLand keep it healed, then it should survive.

Make sure to turn on its ranged attack option (note thatit is impossible to turn it off without storing but since you want it on this shuldnt be a problem)so its more likely to stay out of AOE range.

Your macro is basically sound, other than the pause (should be 15 - 16 seconds for L1 Imperiling Feint) and the use of "/tellpet".

For one reason or another "/tellpet" would only work correctly when starting the macro; I could only get I. Feint to reapply is I substiuted "/say" in the macro. I really hope this gets fixed, I hate spammingcommands...

Tweak your macro as needed; I would also create another on a seprate timer for L1 Knockdown (30 seconds?). WIth the right combination of timing you can effectively keep your target dubuffed and kd'd automatically...

I have little experience with pets with ranged attacks and how the specials are activated, It would be very interesting to find out if the pet need not be in melee range to apply the special attack... I will level a Shear Mite Soldier over the w/end, teach it a few things and report back.
