Thread: My concerns for the Creature Handler changes.

I have been playing a Creature Handler since I heard of the new changes, and havebeen collecting andusing skills like crazy. My template is a MCH/MBH so i have been using my pets in PvP as well as PvE combat. My standard pack consists of 2 level 24 and a level 21 BE pets.
so now that you know my credentials, here is my concern:
The new change is absolutly fantastic, FOR CREATURE HANDLERS. The problem will start to come up when non-CH begin running around with combat grade pets. People will have acesses to free knockdowns, stuns, bleed, snare, etc, I am not considering dps here, because a lvl 10 pet is fairly minimum in damage. Also hunting jedi is hard enough without seeing onesitting next to a mount that also happens to have self-sacrifice 3. I know SOE is still trying to work the kinks out of their new combat system, and feel this may be something they would want to look into. The easiest solution would be to give creature handlers 3 max pet skills +1, and would allow us Master Creature handlers to have our swoop speed mounts (come on, you had to see this comming 
)

I posted my concern on this subject right after the patch came out....as long as lvl 10 pets can be trained specials and be used by non CH toons then there is a chance for this to become a problem at some point...hope that never happens....

A level 10 pet dies very easily--it's a bit of a nonissue, don't you think? Well, I guess you don't think that way.
Isn't worrying about this a bit like a WS worrying that the great pistol he or she crafted will someday be used against them...and then deciding it's better to destroy that weapon?
