First, yes my topic is about non-CH pets, but you guys are the pet masters and thats why I am asking it here.

I would like to have a CL10 pet with me, that I can possibly have trained as a mount, but more importantly that I can use for a little extra DPS when I am fighting high level NPC's. I find combat droids very useful in countering the regen of high level NPC's, and would like to be able to sic a little cat or something onto them instead.

So :

1 - can CL 10 pets also have special attacks and abilities ?

2 - If yes, how useful are these attacks on a CL10 ?

3 - If yes, how many different attacks or abilities can a CL10 on average have?

I'm not looking for them to manage agro or anything like that, just to take 50 point bites out of a boss level Mob when they not looking etc.

Thanks for your time

This is why all non-CH should be excited about the CH changes.

1. Yes CL10s can have specials and be used by non-CHs

2. How useful? That depends on you. How useful is stun, blind, KD, snare, bleed, armor break to you?

3. A wild tamed Carrion Spat that has an existing lvl1 special can hold a total of 5 lvl 1 specials.

But if all the other CHs think like I do, you are going to have a fairly heavy investment into your pet. The amount of time and effort it takes me translates into high cost to the consumer. I charge 400K for a fully trained and mounted Carrion with Bleed, KD, Stun, Blind and Armor Break. A custom ordered one will cost more.

But think about it, you have a combat prof that does not have certain specials...now you can get them in your pet.
