is this correct? i don't mean to doubt you, but i was under the impression that the only way to trasnfer / trade a tamed pet was with the transfer command?
I've bought and sold loads of pets by this method - in fact I have never, ever, not once, used the transfer command... and I'm not entirely sure I'd know how to.
Just last night I bought a level 69 fambaa off someone who dropped CH a long time ago. And previously to that, I've asked a friend (who had no pets at all) to "hold" a level 44 BE Bol for me, while I trained someone else's level 10 dewback, as my datapad was full and I couldn't do a swap (and there was no way I was dropping a pet just to train a mount!). I don't think it matters if the pets are named, semi-trained, half- or fully-grown - as long as there is space in the datapad for the transaction.

Don't blow the idea off completely. As a for instance, I just recently had two critters that each came with Eye Gouge L1. I'd have gladly traded one for some other critter with an ability I didn't have.
Since you brought the idea up, does anyone know of a creature handler channel in Bria galaxy?
Definitely don't abandon the idea completely!
We have created a creature handler chat channel on Flurry (FCH) and while it's not always buzzing with people chatting or anything, it has come in handy at least twice (that I know of) since it was created just a few days agowhere CHs stopped in, had found an ability while out taming that they already knew, and was able to hook up with another CH in the channel that was still in need ofthat ability. There's definitely potential there

I am on Bria, IGN BetelBob, happy to trade unused critters with duplicate abilities for ones I don't have. Unfortunately I haven't seen anych forum yet.
