I was wondering if a non-handler can hold onto my creatures, either through a trade or a transfer. I thoughta non-handler can hold at least two creatures, and although they cannot use a creature over level 10... they would at least be able to hold it in their datapad. Now, I was able to trade a level 20 dune bantha to a non-handler... but when I tried a level 46 creature, it failed every time.
Does anyone know why this would or would not work?

The person had multiple characters, and tried at least one with no animals or factional... but I believe this one was a jedi. Would that make a difference? They claimed there were no other animals in at least one of their characters, but they did have factional pets of some kind....

I'm betting that your second critter was a vicious one. I ran into that problem last night. I'd tamed a crazed durni to give to a friend and she wasn't able to accept it. It seems that non-CH characters can't accept a vicious creature even if it's within the normal CL limits for non-creature handlers. I could give her any other low-CL pets I had but not the crazed durni.
