Im currently a Novice CH, and the template Im aiming for is Master Ranger, Master Rifleman and CH 0300(for the extra storage). I have a slight problem, in that I use Biopets, and my favourite skin is the Kusak(looks like a hunting dog), however that skin is a Vicious Creature, so I cannot tame the deeds currently, or indeed even once I achieve my full template.
My question is this: if I invest in a peice of BE Clothing with a +Vicious Taming mod, will I be able to tame these pet deeds, or do I actually need to have Vicious Taming mods from the CH professions(ie, 3000), for them to take effect?

I am not sure, but I will bump you up so that others, who might know, will see your question.

I cannot say as a Bio-Engineer, since I am not sure if the viscous Creature thing is a flag or is still a leveled skill.
Its supposed to be a flag to separate non-creature handlers and creature handlers.
But the system is still in a flux state so it probably will work with enough enhancers.
Thats what happens when they start something but dont finish.

Two questions and I can answer :
# 1 which level of pet can you call at CH 0300 ?
# 2 which level is your Kusak ?
If the answer to #1 equal or is just above #2 answer you will need a taming wild/vicious enhanced gear.

The clothes should work for you. Just be sure you get +25 to tame vicious. 25 is the cap, so 25 and higher works as 25. If you are a wookie you get a +10 to tame vicious automatically.

Ah, so I just need a +Vicious Taming mod eqal to or greater than the Creature Level of the pet? Well, currently Im 0000, so Im using a level 11, but Ill be using the max level(19) once I hit 0300. Thanks for your help folks.

No, it means that you need a taming enhancer, the number of the bonus is another matter )
If your Kusak is CL 19 and your "max level of pet skill" is 19, yes you will need an enhancer.
Which bonus to buy ? Well, in your case a +10 would be more than enough to call your Kusak but milk isn't that hard to get nowdays, so I suggest you to find a +25 bonus.

I apologize, I was reading the question wrong. I was thinking that he needed Taming 2 in order to tame his Kusak, as it is agressive.
My question: Without Taming 2 he can use the pet deed on an agressive skin, as long as he has the viscious taming clothes?
I know if one is transferred to him then he can use it, but can he do the first step himself?
Just trying to clarify the information, thanks.

As long as his "max level of pet skill" is at least equal to the pet CL and with taming ehancer : yes

Thanks,
I just wanted to make sure it wasn't an on/off flag set for Taming 2, which is the same question a poster had earlier in the thread.
Thank you again,
