the trick to getting CH xp is that your pets only need to get 1 hit to get the CH XP.

What you should do is let your pet attack a creature and let it get 1 hit then kill the creature with your weapon. move up to bigger creatures if you get 1 xp per kill.

BE pets are a perfect way to get started as a CH they are stronger then cought pets you can catch at the moment in the wild.

Go with a group of friends or a group to the Geo Lab and have some fun. Send the pet in for 1 hit and pull it back. You will make loads of xp. I went with a group of friends as a level 0-1-0-0 CH and came out 2-1-1-1 in an hour. I am sure some have done better and arguably if I had time to go back with another group I would have made a couple more levels.

Yes, BE pets are the way to go. My BE sells as many non-CH pets to CH as to non-CH simply because CH exp is based on relative CLs of your pet and target...you can get a CL8-10 pet thats as powerful if not more thana CL25-35 wild creature (not sayingits right or wrong, but only that you can) and get massive CH exp with group fighting. I'd suggest tagging along on voritor hunts, the Geo cave like they said, or Squill cave on Tat, depending on your current fighting abilities.
