I was wondering if the jedi will get another respec in the new expansion. There is a rumor going around in my guild that there will be 7 different ls masteries. This is what ppl are saying in my guild. Is this true? Someone also told me you wil be able to get skills by opening a holocron and getting it. Is this true? This is all from what im hearing in the game just wondering if any is even true. I dont believe the 7 different ls masteries. Im a master powers and i hope its not true. I dabble into ls so if it is true im probably goign to need to get a master ls profession.

Has any one seen the thread on the new expansion? If you go to the last page of the thread, under expansions and then friday feature, there is a link to the anouncement with pics. The 3rd and 4th pic are of some awesome creatures. Please tell me we finally get NEW tames!! Can we start now asking that we be able to tame something on this new planet?

This planet seems to be a Jedi content planet, read the part where you have to choose between "The Dark and Light side."

Imagine that something for the Jedi.....I like the jedi and it isn't that I wouldn't be one I just am not a sheep. IMO they should have did planet Hoth and Bespin rather than adding more Episode 3 crap. If they are trying to go more into the mythology of star wars then they should realize that Ben is dead at this point in the game and Vader is Vader, so why bring this Volcanic planet into the game. I realize that the jedi population is so huge that it will increase sales but they have to start paying attention to the many other proffs as well, or just make us all instant jedi's with digital download.

Aww come on, after all the new ones they gave us with CU? Have some faith. there are plenty of totally useless animals out there for them to give us. They will even make sure to ajust the CL to 11 so that only a CH can use it.

well ive got a jeid toon and i still say give us a planet with tamable pets kashyyyk was a massive disappointment with th eonyl new pets being quested if felt ripepd off id bene denied the thrill of the hunt and the joy of a successful tame, my quested pets jsut dont eman that much to me as a result, sold my cl10 varactyl once i got the cl65, sold my bantha and with ym ch at elast i cant evne be bothered to get the bolotaur

What about those snow Cu Pa things? I heard the next expansion was gonna be Hoth.

People have always wanted to add Hoth... but WHY.. Its a barren ice planet. The Taun-Taun they used in Empire Strikes back arent native to that planet. The Wompa is native.. Very little of anything lives there. The only real location of interest would be the rebel base. It would be amazingly boring and is best left to a "theme park" type of thing rather than a full planet.
I think Mustafar isnt the *best* choice, but its certainly an ok place to put in, especially given the recent trend of "EP3" content. Its definitely not a Jedi only expansion but it appears the Obi-Wan quest series is designed around the whole Jedi mythos. The other quests in "town" probably are just stuff like on Kashyyyk. Personally I look forward to it. Its more stuff to do besides just go around killing stuff for exp (which I dont really need).

Oh yeah. I can't wait to grind my high level pet for endless hours of mind melting xp with hopes that these so called level 3 skills will help my CH class when I am ganked by a Jedi with a lava-like lightsabre from Mustafar.

Tauntauns are a species of snow lizard found roaming the windswept snow plains of Hoth. The Rebel Alliance domesticated the swift creature during their stay on the ice planet, and used the animals for patrol duties outside Echo Base. The animals came in useful as the Rebel technicians had difficulty adapting their repulsorlift speeders to the subzero temperatures.

Hoth could be a pvp planet for the part of the population that likes pvp... It would be the only one in the game so I dont think it would be a big deal. Hoth would give plenty to do... there could be a crashed smuggler ship, The rebel base, The wampa cave, a tauntan cave for lower levels and other stuff. Hoth would be awsome. I dont want another jedi publish but if they insist on giving us one I hope they add a few tamable pets.

Trials of Obi Wan

- This planet will be for Jedis and Non Jedis alike. There will be more Jedi loot on this planet then there was on Kash.
- Players will be able to discover what it is like to be on the "light side" or "dark side"
- You will not be able to build player structures on the new planet
- There will not be be any "zones" as there are with Kash (I think they mean the "gates" thing)
From the fan fest at Leipzig. My guess is it will be a Kashyyyk style planet, but with 'lava pools' and cliffs to keep people in the trails instead of the invisible walls like Kashyyyk. Not sure if I like the 'no zones' or not... it's kind of nice to be able to go to another instance if the stuff you're questing after is being camped.
