Creature Handler Archive

Just to highlight the risk of being a creature handler,

Today i finsihed my quest in the village and set back accross dath on my speeder bike with my map on. As usual any yellow dots in a sea of red dots would get my attention. I locked onto my yellow dot to find a lvl 69 gaping spider baby. I tame it in 3 attempts (my record) . I jump back on bikeand resume my journey to the science outpost. Again a yellow dot gets my attention , a mutant baz nitch. I /ex to check its level as i forgot ....................

ALL OF A SUDDEN

my bike blows up! i quickly pick up my rifle and lock onto the target. To my horror a huge rancor is stood almost on top of me. I blast away, my health is already down half way. Confused i hit burst run and fire a snare shot to give me chance to get away.

On closer inspection of my hunter i find he is a NightSister Rancor with a cl of 80. This explains my diminishing health.

The chase continues .....

I find myself running into a host of nightsisters on top of a mountain luckily non of them fire at me. Finally just before my burts run turns into a laboured stroll the rancor gives up.

Now in summary. I lost a bike but i enjoyed myself (the most in a long time) being caught out and suprised and barely escaping. That is what rancors should be like mean, tough and very blood thirsty. Never mind cl 50 rancors (which i expected it to be)

Question -

If nightsisters can tame lvl 80 rancors why cant master creature handlers?
