I know the forums say to tame Bolma Males, Ancient hanadaks and Merek Harvesters. Any other suggestions, I cant seen to find any of these creatures.

Well, I got mine from a Bolma, but I guess that's not much help to you.

swgcreatures.com is starting to get a decent set of data regarding the specials. For L2, you'll want creatures with CL between 40 and 65. These were the ones it reported:

alpha bolma
angler recluse
arachne warrior
bolma male
bordok ancient
lurking angler
lurking shear mite
merek harvester
perlek ravager
stoneskin hanadak
surefoot brackaset

Kriles Ch'artoff , Chilastra server
Master Chef (retired)
Currently doing....stuff

The hanadak ancient, and perlek are probably the easiest to find
